louboutin shoes Shoes, shoes, shoes.

Given its luxuries and its stunning view over Manila Bay, the Manila Hotel is excellent value. Swingaway Holidays offers a six-night Manila Hotel package, airfare included, for

$1,016 share twin – just $65 more than the much-less-attractive Ambassador.
From Manila, you can take some excellent day trips. Shoot the rapids at beautiful, jungle-shrouded Pagsanjan Falls, where Francis Ford Coppola filmed Apocalypse Now.
A favourite short excursion of mine is to Villa Escudero, chrisitan louboutin heels, a vast working coconut plantation, where you’re met at the main gate by a bullock cart, then carted off through the

palm trees for lunch in a restaurant built in the middle of a stream at the foot of a weir (you take your louboutin shoes off and paddle to the table).
Before leaving Manila, take in a show. Filipinos are among the world’s great entertainers. I always enjoy the Hobbit House in Mabini Street, where the waiters are all dwarves (I

kid you not).
Great folk singers here. And much emotion when they perform beautiful Bayan Co (My Country), an anthem of the People Power revolution.
Outside Manila, the choice of holiday is immense.
Boracay, the lovely little get-away-from-it-all resort island two hours by air from Manila on the local Aerolift carrier, is a good choice for a relaxing break.
Sydney-Manila-Boracay packages start at about $900.
Historic Cebu Island is also well worth visiting. Here, there are several first-class beach resorts within striking distance.
Nearby is Lactan Island, office shoes, where in 1521 the Philippines’ first tourist, Ferdinand Magellan, claimed the islands for Spain.
However, a local chieftain, Lapu Lapu, had other ideas. In the ensuing battle, Magellan was killed. Lapu Lapu went on to achieve immortality when Filipinos named a local fish

after him.
The Spaniards, though, finally conquered.
Visit Palawan, perhaps the least spoilt of the islands accessible to package tourists. There are first-class resorts at scenic El Nido.
If you don’t want a beach holiday, head north from Manila, beyond the cool summer capital of Baguio to the extraordinary 2,000-year-old rice terraces carved out of the

mountains. Filipinos refer to them with some justification as the Eighth Wonder of the World.
A final personal favourite: overlooking the city of Legazpi in southern Luzon is the 2,500m-high Mayon volcano. If you can’t visit Mt Fuji, see this one instead.
It’s smaller, but more perfectly formed.
